Material Donations

HAVEN has an ongoing need for material donations. We are able to accept things such as office supplies, non-perishable food items, new/un-opened toiletries and more!

Below you'll find our guidelines for in-kind donations.

Office supply donations

We have an ongoing need for postage stamps at our main office. Between legal documents, housing applications, client-specific-materials, and surveys - a lot of mail is sent out of our office on a weekly basis! In addition to postage stamps, we also have a constant need for white copier paper and cardstock, tabbed manilla folders, and purple/teal office materials.

Toiletry donations

We always have a need for full sized toiletries such as shampoo/conditioner, body wash, deodorant and body sprays. For hygienic reasons, we cannot accept opened toiletries.

Food donations

We can accept nonperishable food items such as canned goods, pantry staples, and pasta/pasta sauce. We can also accept frozen meals in single and family sizes. We cannot accept goods that are due to expire in 6 months or less.

Clothing donations

We are able to accept business-casual clothing on-site for survivors who are attending court proceedings and job interviews, as well as socks and underwear for survivors of all ages and genders.

Furniture donations

Due to limited storage space, we typically cannot accept large furniture donations on-site; however, there are times when we have survivors in-transition who are need these items. Donators can call our office and ask HAVEN staff if we have any survivors in current need of things like beds, tables, night stands, etc.
